I got this book from my grandmother decades ago; her mother was a Holt from 1800’s Michigan. Granny claimed it was based on her relatives. Wish I had been a bit more curious and asked for details.....all I know is her mother was a pianist like one of the brothers in New York. If anyone who knows more of the family history reads this could you please message me?

Marc Hansen Please remind Granny that the Holt Brothers were FICTIONAL, whose story was based on the weird Collyer Brothers who lived in Noo Yawk!
