I'm interested in getting started on this series (it's 4 books, I think?) It sounds like C&R, obviously, which doesn't bother me. But the primary thing that bugged me about C&R was Ty. He was progressively super-heroed, with lovers popping out of the woodwork, and his buddies taking up more of the story, while Zane got pushed into the background. Does the same thing happen here? I'll skip it if so.

I will say, be warned, this series is not finished. There are supposed to be 4 books but only 3 of them are written. (less)
