Anyone else not really liking this book. I have read all of them and this one I am just not enjoying. The martial relationship borders on being trival and dumb . I am on page 179 and struggling to finish it. This has never ever happened before with a Savannah Reid mystery?

The stories and plots themselves are, however, quite well done. The characters and their own back-stories are, again, well done.

But this: (page 160) "Hi, puddin' cat, what's shakin'?" Really?

I am on page 175; I MUST finish it.(less)
