2) Annalukshmi's tale isn't the only one present in the book, right? You see, there is also the heroine's closeted, married gay uncle, who one day discovers the love of his life is arriving on the island. And what about the estranged family branches scheming from afar?
3) The Tamil issue gave me an entirely new picture of the Tamil problem in Sri Lanka. Where they considered less because they were brought from India to work in the plantations? And why do converted Christians feel that they hold the moral high ground, when continuing to hold on to their previous religio-cultural affiliations?
