Have you read the book?

I agree with you that the title feels sensational and reinforces ignorant skepticism.

However, the blurb suggests that the author isn't denying the symptoms and impact of ADHD. Instead, they seem to be suggesting the cluster of symptoms arises from an intersection of disorders. If that's accurate, then it's an important step toward more effective treatment.

To be clear, my question about whether you have read this is genuine. If you HAVE read this, I'm curious to know more about what was problematic.

I came to the Goodreads page specifically to investigate whether this was a book rehashing the "ADHD was invented by pharma corporations" myth, because the title was galling. I have not read it yet, but the blurb has me feeling optimistic enough to try reading it in the future.(less)
