Push t…moreI am wondering why your attempts have failed. Was it due to you not enjoying the material/story? If this is the case then you have two options. Push through and finish. Then read the second book. If you still are not finding enjoyment in the series by the second book then your second option surfaces which is, be done with it. At this point it will be obvious that it is not for you. The first book grabbed me an drew me in. I could not wait to read the next book to see where it went. But others have felt lost and confused after the first book and needed the second book to answer the questions the first book left open. Good luck. (less)
