Is it me, or does the girl on this cover look like the main character Merida from the movie Brave?

why does the cover look like it has merida on it?

I love Merida so much. Would I be disappointed after reading this because I've read in the reviews that they both kinda sorta maybe have similarities..?

Is it just me who can't find this book for kindle.?

Should I read the other books in the princesses of myth series before reading this one? Does it make a difference in understanding each book or are they not connected at all?
