Although it is a fictional story, we could imagine that they would have let Armani pi…moreRemember they'd only had Cricket a few hours before Katrina hit. Although it is a fictional story, we could imagine that they would have let Armani pick out the dog accessories later. I think it is pretty safe to assume that the author let us subtly know that Uncle T-Bone and girlfriend died since their house was completely underwater. And finally though not that important, the family was never in the Superdome, just outside of it where yes, there were dead bodies. How any of us would react in that moment is hard to guess. It truly was, however, a horrible moment in US history. (less)
