I'm finding most of these stories depressing, and I'm not finding them "wickedly funny." The "love of story and language" I can see. Which of these stories do you think will endure, or are masterpieces of the genre?

But yeah - this story too is definitely neither wickedly funny, nor even remotely entertaining. Then again, that's not the tone that I usually connect to.(less)
