Quite a bit of what Charlie sees, hears, feels and thinks can easily be attributed to a guilty conscious, medical condition etc or. But given how well it's written it's almost ghostly, other worldly. Absolutely love this series.(less)

I borrowed the audiobook version from the library only to discover it is an abridged version. As a reader of the entire series up to this one will I miss too much?
