do I need to read Red Hill first before I read Among Monsters?

Sarah Chambers It makes more sense to read it first as you would get a better idea of how the apocalypse came about.

How graphic is the violence in this book? Obviously I’m sure it’s fairly graphic due to there being zombies but will this make the average person nauseous? If you know what I mean? And is there any graphic sexual content?
