Also, in Dali’s Novellas, she doesn’t dislike Kate, but does feel quite a bit of jealousy towards her due to her own insecurities.
One can’t even use having the baby a few days before as an excuse for Andrea, as she was up and about and participating in the battle. I’m wondering if matrons of honor are just not a thing in their world, and since Jim and Dali are not married, only she could be the maid of honor. (less)

Does anyone else think the new beast lord Jim is an absolutely self-centered jackass? Kate thinks he's her friend but really it's only when it suits him. He keeps letting her down and judging her on really flimsy evidence. He's my least favorite character in the series.
