can anyone suggest a book to read alongside this one, that would give a less... biased...? view? On every page I keep asking myself "as opposed to what?" This or that person is characterized as "enlightened..." the author doesn't define or pin down his concepts, and I know there must have been other opinions and activities going on at the time... example: p. 6-7 praise for Simon Bolivar and Ho Chi Minh...
