Many of these ladies toured as a group promoting the book and their POV.

Comparatively the sex is fairly bland. The underling fact is that a group of female friends. Many of "a certain age", with little or no background as writers of any type got together to share, and only much later to publish material that reflected their individual notion of what a "dirty" book might contain.

Some of the contributions are more flirtatious than sexy, but they seems to honestly reflect what that lady felt to be erotic. IMHO many, if not all held back in that however honest their naughty writing, they likely held back something.

This book is your mother, or your grandmother, opening up to a circle of friends, knowing that among themselves they were not anonymous. (less)
