I began reading this and I feel a bit lost. What prerequisite texts should I read for a bit more context? I have essentially zero knowledge of or training in Marxist philosophy. Is that an issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to approach them, is to read it once by skimming. Read it again with a pencil, and read it a third time to join all of your thoughts together. At least thats how it works for me.(less)
