Answers may contain spoilers. I have a serious illness with a scary prognosis, so started reading this book a few weeks ago because it sounded like an escape, in a way. Meaningful but fun. It starts out much like my life is at this time. I was afraid to read more. I haven't cried in 2 weeks now, but I still need a happy ending. Dare I read it?

Is anyone else bothered by the switch between first person and third person narrators? Why are the chapters about Slip and Audrey written in first person, but Faith, Kari, and Merit’s chapters are in third? I’m only 1/3 finished, so I’m wondering if there’s a reason, or just a strange writing choice?

Will this story become more interesting after so many pages??????? I am hoping that this book picks up....it took me an hour to read 20 pages. THE type(print) is soo teeny tiny that it is difficult to read. I borrowed this from my local library since it got so many mixed reviews.

I would argue they aren't even mad, because all the conflict seems to happen offscreen.(less)
