Hi!! I have read the first two books in this series. The final book is extremely hard to finish (as I'm sure many will agree.) However the 4th book has promising reviews, and I was wondering is it OK, to perhaps skip the third installment and instead jump back into Maria V. Snyder's captivating writing in the fourth book? Or will I miss out on some key details from Fire Study?

Nav Yes, but even before that, you have to start with Study series (Poison Study being the 1st book in the series).
