kinza He was on jury duty before he was a priest. Being on jury duty is what drove him to become a priest.

Considering the Catholic church has a long history of opposing the death penalty, I don't understand how a Catholic priest can vote for the death penalty while on jury duty. And why would the prosecutor not challenge the priest for cause during voir dire? Wouldn't the priest have preached against the death penalty at some point? This makes no sense to me.
