On o…moreI can only assume it was set sometime in the late 80s or early 90s because a lot of the technology in the book seems to be from that time period. On one page, Jody told that guy at Mcdonalds that she tried calling him on the machine the other day which I can only assume is an answering machine, also Ben did mention that Kim did give him a tape of her psych up music for Christmas which must be a tape recorder. These devices have not been used since the 80s and 90s. There are many more of these moments throughout the book that prove that it takes place during the 80s or 90s(less)
