What do you think about the title, Dawn of the Vampire Revived? We wanted to stay true to the original title, but show there are revisions within. I didn't like Dawn of the Vampire Revised. We even thought about using Dawn of the Vampire Revisited.

Scott Cook I like revisited better than revised. Re-dawn of the Vampire would work also.

Did you know that Dawn of the Vampire will be re-released this fall as a 2nd Edition, not just another printing? It will first be released as an e-book with a revised cover to go with inner revisions. A contest will be coming later in August. A print copy of the book should be available in October. For my fans in NE TN, DOTV 2nd Ed contains more about Bristol and the history of the dam.

Did you know that 2nd edition of Dawn of the Vampire, Dawn of the Vampire Revived, was released in print, trade paperback, on Oct 9, 2018? And that William Hill will be speaking at the Bristol Public Library on Saturday, Oct 27th, from 10-11 AM?

How many of you knew publishers pick the titles? Manuscripts often have working titles. Sometimes the author changes it along the way or when it's done. Even more often, the publisher changes the title. The original title for Dawn of the Vampire was Darkness Walks in the Light. Nice, the Kensington editors said, but too poetic, and it needed to scream vampires are inside.
