Given that this novel was based off of the author's ow personal experiences, was Radana the author's baby sister?

She says she compressed family members i…moreThe author says that her actual family was much larger (her father was one of 5, not 3 children for example). She says she compressed family members into composite characters, and changed names, except her father's name. She also says everything that happened to Rami happened tocher in some form or another. She also says she is her father's only livong child. So while the author may not have exaxtly had a little sister 5 years younger than her named Radana, it seems very likely that she had a sibling who perished. The details might just be a bit different. (less)
