I just finished reading this book, and it was a lovely story. I liked the development of all the characters and the plot. The narrator did an outstanding job with portraying each characters. One thing, I'm still confused though, who abandoned kit on her adopted parent's doorstep as a baby. How did this person get back into the past without the ruby brooch? I'm rereading the book now, to see what I missed :-)
