Many details of how women disappeared and some details on the few whose bodies were found. Unfortunately many were just bones by the time they were found. The most detailed account is perhaps his attack on the sorority house in which 4 college students were attacked in their sleep(two were killed and two others severely injured). This was unfortunately one of the few times bodies were found and a lot more detail is given here. So much so even made me squeamish, and I've already read several Ann Rule's books so I'm not a newbie to horrible crime scenes.

It does talk of how he was tracked down and eventually caught by Florida. They didn't realize at first who they had and that he was on the run from Colorado on a murder charge. Police eventually put the pieces together and he gets the electric chair for the murders. (less)

Did anyone else wonder if Louise's father was also Ted's father? Obviously nothing in the book indicated that directly, but I just wondered since Louise said Ted's father was a married man and she had so much trouble taking Ted home initially, and Louise's father was a drunk and angry man.

Jack According to the Ted Bundy wikipedia entry, it is mentioned that according to DNA testing, Ted Bundy was not the product of incest.

Just finished the 1986 edition of the book, but apparently more recent editions have more chapters. Is the extra information worth buying the 2009 edition? Thank you.

But the latest edition has a very explicit description of Bundy's execution from one of the witnesses. That alrdy curdled my blood before i started the original story. But at least it's worth my money's worth since I get more pages. (less)
