The preface talks about how Lucy had her own autobiography tucked away in a cabinet. However, I can't tell if the rest of the book is the text of this tucked-away copy. The preface also mentions how Lucy's daughter is bound to write her own biography of her mother, so I'm left confused from the get-go. Which story portrayed by the Preface is this novel?

It is told in first person so I think it could work. I really enjoyed this memoir, she was such a strong woman that never gave up, loved her family more than words and always tried to see the best in people. I learned so much about who she really was underneath the humor and slap stick comedy of I Love Lucy.(less)
