Given that it is on a moving sea, this requires the execution of multiple steering commands. The progress around the turn is measured in quarters. e.g. If the turn starts at the 6 o'Clock position, and sails clockwise towards the 12 o'clock position, then between 6 and 9 would be the near quarter, between 9 and 12 would be the far quarter(less)
