I thought the story was familiar and realized I had seen the movie based on it. The movie was not very good and may have influenced my rating of the book. Did anyone else see it?

Has anyone seen the movie of this book? Can't believe Jane Green would let them make it.

Did anyone notice that Ginny Meyer was mentioned in both Sylvie and Maggie chapters? She was the friend who gave Angie the mushroom at her birthday party, introduce on page 46. Then, on page 201, Maggie mentions Ginny admiring her ruby necklace at a party one night. I kept thinking the presence of this woman in both Sylvie's and Maggie's lives was going to be explained, but it never was. Simple editing mistake?
