Like House of Leaves, with the sometimes unusual text placement & color, should this be read in paperback/hardback form, or is the Kindle version okay?

Jubilee I read the hardback years ago and just recently tried to reread the e-book. That ruined some of the special formatting so I switched back to hardback.…moreI read the hardback years ago and just recently tried to reread the e-book. That ruined some of the special formatting so I switched back to hardback. At times, there is special typography that needs to be viewed in the original 2-page layout of an open book.

You can understand the ebook without seeing this original layout, but you won't be able to enjoy the full show as intended. (Just don't.) :-)(less)
