is this an easy book to read considering I am not native english speaker and 16 years old? I read The Lord of the flies by Golding and I lovedd it. I didn't have any problems with that book and it became one of my favourites so I wanted to read something more by this author because I really enjoyed his writing stile. So would you recommend this book to me, I read the plot and it sounds very interesting

The first few chapters are especially difficult because it's kind of a mix of "high" English language and descriptions of people/events through the eyes of a Neanderthal who doesn't really understand the things he's seeing.
Great book, but a little bit of a challenge. Not really anything like Lord of the Flies at all.(less)

On pages 168-169, what do think Fa sees that she does not want Lok to see?
Nelda Fa sees the girl get shot with an arrow, or so it would seem, while she and Lok are holed up in that tree. And of course, Lok, who is not the brightes…moreFa sees the girl get shot with an arrow, or so it would seem, while she and Lok are holed up in that tree. And of course, Lok, who is not the brightest Neanderthal, keeps looking for Liku. This is not entirely his fault because Fa does not have the heart to tell Lok that she saw her die. Fa's omission of information causes all kinds of problems as time goes on.(less)
