I'm having a hard time getting through "By Permission of Heaven." Is there anyone here who has read both "Heaven" .and "The Great Fire of London"? If so, could you provide a comparison in terms of the authors' writing styles, themes covered, use of primary sources? Does "The Great Fire" focus more on the social side (origins, community response, economic/social impact, evolution of urban planning, etc.)? Thank you!
