Heard about this book in a TED talk...Thought the concept was interesting. Turned out to be too (cerebral? or just plain tedious) for me, & I couldn't finish it. Perhaps it just was not the book to bring on a relaxing vacation. Perhaps I didn't read enough give it a proper chance. Other reviewers seemed to enjoy it. If you read it, what was your take away? Is there a 'life message' here not to be missed?

I'm still reading the book, but I was very confused as to why she did not call 911 when she realized she was having a stroke! She spent hours trying to remember her work telephone number and then waited for her co-worker to come take her to the hospital! WHY?!?!
