Does anyone out there feel like writing a story inspired by a string quartet by Leos Janacek (there should be accents over the s, the a, and the c)? I ask out of sheer devilment because: Janacek wrote The Kreutzer Sonata inspired by Tolstoy's The Kreutzer Sonata which was named after Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata, which was named after a man who, I seem to recall, never played it. This amuses me.

The connection in the Tolstoy story is to the music teacher in the story. I highly recommend a reading in librivox. It's read in a very thick Brooklyn(?) accent that is amusing. I don't know the piece by Leoš Janáček but will listen to it.
