I'm reading these books in order and did feel like I skipped one. A lot has happened with [spoilers removed] before the story in this book, but I missed the entire story. I'm sure I didn't skip a book, but from the explanations in here it wasn't just a little side-story. Very confusing... Can anyone tell me what I missed here? Is it in one of the short story books perhaps?

Isn’t Aunt Linda Sookie’s dad’s sister? Why in Definitely Dead do they refer to her as Sookie’s mother’s sister?

The author will refer to the plot in the previous book and it …moreI completely agree with Courtney, you need to read them in order to make sense of them. The author will refer to the plot in the previous book and it will not make sense to the reader. I have not been able to get book #3 from the library, but have read book, 4,5,6, and reading 7 and still reference to book #3 are tossed in. The only reason I continue to read series is cause I saw the HBO series and the first two books followed the same plot lines.(less)
