There is also a childhood photo where Marlene and her sister are naked at the beach, but the caption explains that this was considered healthy for children at the time, and there's nothing sexualized about that photo.

There is also plenty in the book that isn't sexual at all, and there are lots of interesting posed portraits, casual snapshots, and pictures of different belongings of Dietrich's. I particularly enjoyed the photos from her involvement with the USO during WWII. Overall, it would depend on the age of the kid and the parents' level of involvement in talking about sexuality and issues related to women's objectification.(less)
