Hi all, I'm pretty new to the mystery novel world. I first read the Archie Mc Nally series, then the Stone Barrington books, then Myron Bolitar. I loved them all. Can you recommend some other series that have great characters, good plots, a sense of humor? Thank you so much!!

Obviously Ellery was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and to me was more intelligent.

I also enjoy Martha Grimes's Richard Jury series... although in my brain, his aristocratic friend is the main character.(less)
