I have not read the book but saw the movie on Prime. I cannot understand why no one comments on Margaret's flashbacks, and wonder if they are in the book also. Nour, Margaret Egyptian love interest, has slit a girl's throat??? Why ??? Was that a dream or reality? It does not make sense. And if the murder was real, then the movie is not a comedy. No reviews of the movie mention that. Can someone please explain?

The second book from the Mother-in-law’s perspective and reveals more “secrets” about the characters and then the last book from Lili’s perspective and eventually explains what exactly happened to Margaret in Egypt. At least this is what I have been able to glean from book reviews on Amazon, the huffington post and here. Hope it helps. 😊(less)
