Why is Christianity and the Christian God portrayed do poorly in the House of Night Series? The insults upon Christianity gets slightly offensive after some time.

I think they're exploiting people's fears in order to reinforce their order and the patriarchy within. They use religion because it's historically the easiest way to talk people into crackpot ideas. I'm pretty sure Stevie Ray is a Christian, even if she shows homage to Nyx because of her transformation.(less)

Ok so I have the 3rd book Chosen um should I read the first book first,or would I be able to just jump into the series (start with Chosen)and understand it?

Luna Knight you should always read the first book of any series first they are amazing books and I love them.
