I find i read her books at a slower pace than I usually read. Does anyone else have this experience? I can think of many reason for this but I was curious what ideas others had about reading pace. I need to keep up with the speed of events; there is a lot going on in her first book. I need to adjust to the speech patterns. I am savouring the book.

Loved Maya's first book, and almost done with the second one.

I have to ask this; are Maya Angelou's biographies preachy with christianity or do they try to convert non-believers to her faith? Thanks!
Liana Definitely not! This is a great compilation of the life she led and how it made her who she is. Not preachy at all.
