Am I the only writer who hated this book, or merely the only one who troubled to explain why?

As a new writer, I really tried to take some of his advice, but I couldn't. What made it worse was the fact that my English teacher was Worshiping Klinkenborg like a literal god! I mean that's just weird. When my class was doing a discussion on the book I had brought up the fact that Klinkenborg said that it was the readers choice on if the writing flowed and not the writer, which makes a little bit of sense. I had said that this book had no flow, and everyone decided that today was "Let's gang up on Cordelia day." Even the teacher decided to gang up on me! I mean WHAT!!!! Is that even supposed to happen? After the discussion I sat in my chair crying. I think that it was extremely rude to do that to a student, at least say that you respectfully disagree.
