Anyone read any other Reynolds Price novels? This is my first and I am captivated by his style, sometimes truly poetic, as well as the narrator Kate, past middle age and remembering her life from her first childhood memories. One warning: an early event is a suicide-murder. That it will happen is foreshadowed fairlyl strongly so you would guess it's coming even if I had not told you.
