But they were missing each other because the two of them were too strong-minded and proud to say what they hearts desires in some fight along the book, so they stood a long time apart, he in Scotland and he in London (if I remember correctly). When Elizabeth asks him to meet her halfway, I believe its a way of both of them to compromise instead of one of them has to give up pride. (less)

A historical romance ,i cant really remember the story well and i dont remember the author or the book's tiltle. The couple is married and they're living in england but they had a sort of honeymoon or just a trip to a castle with great cliff views and a beach that is near(scotland?);the scene im talking about is where she is on the beach and a horserider tires to kill her,she thinks its the hero(duncan?)
