Contained within the covers are only the energy and thoughts of the author, as you turn the blank pages the ideas flow through and into your open chakras creating something akin to virtual reality crossed with empathy. The chakras you need to open depend on the emotion put forth by the author...Im particularly fond on the chapters where Lawrence stimulates my Sacral Chakra...It makes me feel especially..."close" to the author.(less)

In this book we get to see a more moral side of Jorg and it has a more interesting plot and a lot of twists, also the other characters also get a lot more developed.

The book features the 'Road Life' of the brothers and provides a better insight to character development. But it is safe to say that you can proceed to the next book in the series without picking up #1.5 as it has no direct relationship to the Broken Empire Trilogy. Nice Reading!(less)

There are no graphic or extended sex scenes in the traditional sense. When sexual activity is mentioned, it’s usually brief, blunt, and emotionally distant — more about establishing character or worldbuilding than focusing on the act itself. For example, the main character, Jorg, may mention having been with someone, or refer to past experiences, but the narrative doesn’t linger on these moments or describe them in any explicit way. As for the references to rape or sexual violence, they are typically mentioned in passing or as part of backstory, not shown in real-time or described in graphic detail. The tone is matter-of-fact rather than sensational, and the author avoids dwelling on those scenes. The intent seems to be to paint a harsh, unforgiving world — not to shock or provoke the reader with explicit content. In short, while the themes are mature, the presentation is restrained. The book challenges readers emotionally and morally, but it does so without being gratuitous or overly descriptive when it comes to sexual content.(less)
