Hi, Could anyone get or understand a way to reach one condition of the several ones described in the book? I found too many description about the Right Side and Left Side, about the Fighter and Naguals, about how they were in certain conditions, but got nothing regarding a "Way to reach" any of this. It maybe that I did not understand well, so please help me

Castaneda's books aren't exactly "how-to" books. There is a practical handbook called "The Teachings of Don Carlos" by a gentleman named Victor Sanchez that purportedly, I do not own nor have I read any of the book, teaches don Juan's techniques in workbook style.

I've found that all of the teachings are more or less easily correlated with various techniques in Western esotericism for contacting the "higher self" and utilizing the will- just in a different language.

Shifting awareness or, to use the current parlance "altering consciousness" is the basic practice behind most mystical practices. A course of Raja Yoga, the neo-Gnostic exercises of Aleister Crowley, or the shamanistic/artistic workings of Austin Spare all offer ways to achieve this goal.

On the other hand, I have found that combined with previous knowledge that I have been able to extrapolate techniques from Castaneda's books (there are small measures plainly incorporated in don Juan's dialogues and actions throughout- they may seem insignificant). You might also want to look into his later books "The Art of Dreaming" and "Magical Passes" which are supposed to give instructions in tensegrity.
