I listened to this book and did not love the “sound effects” that were sprinkled in (waves, etc…). They seemed kind of random and took me out of the story a bit. What did you think?

Jean I loved them! I love Hawaii so much and it helped me get into that beautiful setting. It was something different. Just fun.

A minor quibble: At minute 40:40 of this audiobook, Brody is described as "tall, tanned, medium-height..." ??? Which is it? Tall or medium? Also, it seems really odd that they are so shockingly unfamiliar to each other with their existing connections -- Brody idolized Ami's ex-fiance growing up in the same suburb & these two have never crossed paths? Do I need to read Unhoneymooners to understand this?
