Is this book suitable for a 9 y.o. 5th grader who is reading on grade level? It's a recommended book in the Brave Writer homeschool curriculum for 4-6th grade, but it seems long and rather densely written for my distractible 9 y.o. Saga! The Warrior of Plants and Nature! Yes. I had to look that up with my mom when we finished it. But yes, Mr. Bowditch was a real man:)
