Why do people like these J.A. Jance books so much? The guy's an idiot and a boor to boot. I don't get it. I read one, then two, and now I'm out. No more wasting my time on these clunkers.

It's not as good as Reynolds but the story lines aren't bad and I expect them to get better. I'm on book 3 now and it's pretty intriguing.
Also try The Cordell Logan series by a different author. (less)
