(What we hear men say about women in private -- the "locker room talk" -- is not the full picture of how they feel either, or at least I certainly hope not.) The book wasn't about the whole of these women and what made up 100% of their lives; it was only a tiny portion. They shared their distresses with each other, which included the dissatisfaction with their relationships.(less)
