How have you changed since reading this book/ what was its biggest impact on you?

Rachel DuBois I've come back to this book over the years. I've read it probably 5 times, practicing many of the exercises over and over again.

When I first read it, it blew my mind and I felt like I had discovered Hogwarts was real. But then I couldn't get any of the exercises to work, and I even tried searching for Beck life coaches who could help teach me and couldn't find a single one despite extensive searching. Not one.

So I credit the book as still being a good guide for developing your intuition and manifesting abilities, but obviously there's something still missing since no one, other than the people in the book, seems to be able to do the magic that she promises. (less)

Unanswered Questions (2)

Has anyone, anyone at all, been able to do any of the 'magical' skills she talks about: Forming, calling animals, altering the weather, that kind of thing? I ask not because I don't believe it's possible -- I do -- but because I think few people are able to do it. Perhaps it's that we don't have the self-discipline to keep practicing, but I'm curious if anyone has actually managed tangible results.
