Wow. Reviews are all over on this one. I love the cover and title. I have to admit I am intrigued by Ms Chreiteh's background. Is this story told in the tradition of say 'The Kite Runner' or 'Never a Child'? Is the reader transported to the region?

It follows the life of a woman, but only a short part, a few months. It touched upon ideas like globalization and woman's bodies who owns them etc. (less)
