They originally tried to choose their victims by being a…moreI know this is 5 years late, but it has to do with a poem that was written by Wood to Graham. They originally tried to choose their victims by being able to spell Murder using the victims' initials. When it became too difficult, they started counting each murder as a "day" seen in the phrase "I will love you for forever and a day" At the point of the trial the poem seen in evidence said "You'll be mine forever and five days" indicating 5 victims.
