I have read both "Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass" and "My Bondage and My Freedom". Are the first parts of "Life and Times of Frederick Douglass" the same as the two previous books? I am thinking of starting at the part where he escapes and skipping the parts before that as I assume they are a repeat of the earlier two books.
